You wake up every morning looking for your answer,
You’re waiting for your sign
While Jeremiah’s on his way to tell the people
But you watch him pass you by.

You walk the streets at night still looking for your reason
But you don’t want to try
You swear the world has got you backed into a corner
But no one holds your hand to walk into a fight.

You swear the light is gonna find you
But it can’t find you if you’re waiting all the time.

You say, ‘keep my head from going down’
Just for a little, just for a little
Watch my feet float off the ground
Just for a little, just for a little
A little love if you can hear this sound
Oh just give me something
Something to believe in.

 Slipped away

"Who are you?" he screamed. "You know who I am!" she looked in his face, crying, searching for help. "You know me better than I do myself." she whispered.
"Do I really know you?" he whispered, sadly. "Words can lie. Humands can lie." A tear runed down his face. "You lied." She wanted to say something, she was searching for words. "No, it wasn't... it was diffrent. I promise you, I never lied. I..." He turned around. "I gave you my Heart, my Life. A Life in Peace and in truth." she didn't said anything. "I gave it the wrong person."

Poem from The Perks Of Being A Wallflower

A poem from The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

Once on a yellow piece of paper with green lines

he wrote a poem
and he called it "chops"
because that was the name of his dog
and thats what it was all about
his teacher gave him an A
and a gold star
and his mother hung it on the kitchen door
and read it to his aunts.
that was the year Father Tracy
took all the kids to the zoo
and he let them sing on the bus
and his little sister was born
with tiny nails and no hair
and his mother and father kissed alot
and the girl around the corner sent him a
Valentine signed with a row of X's
and he had to ask his father what the X's meant
and his father always tucked him in bed at night
and was always there to do it

once on a piece of white paper with blue lines

he wrote a poem
he called it "Autumn"
because that was the name of the season
and that's what it was all about
and his teacher gave him an A
and asked him to write more clearly
and his mother never hung it on the kithcen door
beause of the new paint
and the kids told him
that Father Tracy smoked cigars
and left butts on the pews
and sometime they would burn holes
that was the year his sister got glasses
with thick lenses and black frames
and the girl around the corner laughed
when he asked her to go see santa claus
and the kids told him why
his mother and father kissed alot
and his father never tucked him in bed at night
and his father got mad
when he cried for him to do it

once on a paper torn from his notebook

he wrote a poem
and he called it "Innocence: A Question"
because that was the question about his girl
and thats what it was all about
and his professor gave him an A
and a strange steady look
and his mother never hung it on the kitchen door
because he never showed her
that was the year Father Tracy died
and he forgot how the end
of the Apostles's Creed went
and he caught his sister
making out on the back porch
and his mother and father never kissed
or even talked
and the girl around the corner
wore too much make up
that made him cough when he kissed her
but he kissed her anyway
becuase it was the thing to do
and at 3 am he tucked himself into bed
his father snoring soundly

that's why on the back of a brown paper bag

he tried another poem
and he called it "Absolutely Nothing"
because that's what it was really all about
and he gave himself an A
and a slash on each damned wrist
and he hung it on the bathroom door
because this time he didnt think
he could reach the kitchen----

When i read this poem in this book I cried even if I'm normally reading poems like this everyday. But it means so much to me.  Maybe it's gonna make you feel similar.

Gravity don't mean too much to me

I'm who I've got to be

These Pigs are after me, after you

Run away, like it was yesterday

And we could run away

if we could run away,

run away from here

You got a hollow point smile

Me and your runaway scars,

Got a photograph dream on the getaway mile

Le'ts blow a hole in this town

And do our talking with a laser beam

Gunning out of this place

In a bullet's embrace

Then we'll do it again

Gravity don't mean too much to me

I'm who I've got to be

These Pigs are after me, after you

LEBEN

I like making people happy.

I like going to people who are a little bit in need of someone to come along, and I like clapping my hand on  their shoulder and saying: "Hey, it's your day! You are exactly where you need to be! Everything will be ok! Be happy, and love this day like it's your last one!"

And when I see them smile, I'm happy too.

I've been told that people in Army do more by 7:00 a.m. than I do in an entire day. But If I wake up at 6:59 a.m. and turn to you to trale the outline of your Lips with mine, I will have done enough and killed no one in the process

Reden

Zu den Menschen
vom Frieden sprechen
und dabei an dich denken
Von der Zukunft sprechen
und dabei an dich denken
Vom Recht auf Leben sprechen
und dabei ab dich denken
Von der Angst um Mitmenschen
und dabei an dich denken -
ist das Heuchelei
oder ist das endlich die Wahrheit?
